Murmansk is a Hero City, which is situated under the Polar Circle on the 69 parallel. It stands on a rocky eastern slope of the Kola Bay, an estuarine inlet of the Barents Sea. It is the largest ice-free port on the Arctic shoreline of Russia and the biggest city in the world under the Polar Circle. The polar day well-known as ‘white nights’ will meet you with a midnight sun. You will see the Arctic Gates: hundreds of cranes, ships and vessels, standing on raid, – they determinate a unique beauty of a northern sea town. You will visit the Atomic ice-breaker ‘Lenin’, which now is a museum, and the most northern oceanarium. City tour around Murmansk with a brief background on the town, built in 1916 with a creation of a sea port on Kola Bay and fully distracted in the years of Great World War, pretended to become a Hero City.

  • 5% discount with an advance payment of 30%-50%
  • 10% discount for groups of more than 7 people
  • 5% discount for groups of 4 to 7 people

By agreement with the manager, we will book a tour and will keep it for you for 3 days.

Warm clothing

Weather on the Kola Peninsula can change several times a day. Therefore, for a comfortable stay during the tour, we recommend that you take warm clothes and reliable, waterproof shoes with you.

Personal First Aid Kit

We always have with us a first-aid kit with the necessary medicines for the traveler. But, if you need to take special medicines as prescribed by doctors, do not forget to put them in a backpack.

Clean drinking water

We know how they can exhaust long trips. To quench your thirst and restore strength, be sure to stock up on clean drinking water or hot tea.

Camera

During the tour, we constantly arrange photo shoots against the backdrop of the Northern Lights, on the shores of the Arctic Ocean, near historical attractions and simply against the background of unforgettable northern nature. Take a camera or smartphone with a camera with you, and memories of the trip will remain with you for life.
