Seidozero Lake is associated with many legends. For example, about the villain Kuiva, whose image can be seen on the rock Kuivchorr nearby the Segozero. The image is gigantic – about 70 meters high and 30 meters wide. Legend has it that the wizard Kuiva, immured in the mountain above the lake, does not like to be disturbed. Those who disturb his peace will be punished. This explains the cases of strange deaths of people who tried to conquer the mountain on which the image is located.
