The Valley of Glory

Fascinating bus tour

We organized a bus tour to the Valley of Glory especially for those, who are interested not only in the urban environment, but also in the heroic stories of Murmansk region. After all, it was here, in fact, that the war began and ended for many thousands of red army soldiers. It was here that the front line passed, which served as a division between the troops. An impressive memorial to the fallen wars, the eternal flame, and WWII tanks on a pedestal are just a small part of what the participants will see. The most important thing is the atmosphere of solemn memory and sorrow, which for many years symbolizes this place.

    Arrival in Murmansk

One of the most famous places of military glory in Murmansk region is the Valley of Glory, which was previously called the Valley of Death. This place is associated not only with the heroic deeds of the red army and Soviet sailors, but also with the horrors of war and bloody confrontation. It is no coincidence that the terrifying truthful name of this place was changed to a more solemn and memorable one. In 2011, the complex was updated. A reburial was made. Every year, on May 9, hundreds of people come here to honor the memory of the defenders of the Arctic.
